Background
Lily was born blind. She has learned to keep things in her enviroment the same and never move them. She isn't afraid to go into new places, just as she remembers that there will be tender spots on her body from running into things. She does have Madison, her guide dog, to help her out. However, that little puppy has a mind of her own at times. Usually when she isn't needed, she will wonder but always stay within calling distance. Madison wasn't Lily's first guide dog. She did have Charlie, a golden retriever, but he sadly passed away a few years before she turned thirteen. Madison is her third dog as the second actually got stolen from her. Mean people suck.
Lily's parents and her older brother, Chase, are close to each other. Her brother is in the military following in the family tradition going back a few hundred years. She was raised in a military family, as her mom was in as well. When she would listen, they always seemed harsh on her brother when it was really her that did something bad. She learned after Chase took a few punishments for her from their father, to own up. She didn't really get punished, but told right from wrong. As she got older, she started to want to interact more with her peers and sometimes it turned out well, and others thought she was a freak for not being able to see.
After graduating high school, she decided to take some time to herself and see if she can live on her own. Her parents helped her get into Rosewood Apartments, just down the street from their home. One of them comes over at least once a week to make sure that she is okay and take her to the store for supplies and food. She does pretty well as she watches some t.v. and reads. She does go on walks around the apartment complex and hangs out with her few friends when they are not busy. She doesn't know what to do with her life at the moment but seems content with Madison around and spending time with her puppy.

Her parents started the bakery a few years before Lily and Chance were born. They make all kinds of sweets from low sugar/low carb, to full on confections with no dietary restrictions. They also do catering.
